Janaagraha is a not for profit institution working towards improving the quality of life in our cities and towns by improving urban governance. Founded in 2001 by Ramesh Ramanathan and Swati Ramanathan, Janaagraha started as a movement to include people's participation in public governance and has now evolved into a robust institution for Citizenship and Democracy.

Skills/ Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
Specific experience in two or more of the following areas: HR management, process improvements, compensation and recruitment, training and development
Outstanding communications and presentation skills
Excellent problem solving and general management expertise
High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; solid team player.
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Responsibilities includes:
Contribute towards the development and implementation of the talent acquisition, management and retention strategy
Implement HR processes which include recruitment, on-boarding, induction and performance reviews, growth and development.
Provide counselling and support to maintain high levels of motivation and manage conflict.
Support in creating an effective work environment for staff and volunteers.
Ensure effective payroll management and compliance to regulatory processes
Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring and reporting aspects of HR progress
