About the organization:
Indian Urban Space (IUSP) is a leading organization in the area of
Urban Design and City Planning. They work with the government in
the creation of public spaces and plans.
Position: AutoCAD- Associate
Skills and Experience:
1. 5 to 6 years of experience in AutoCAD and other Drafting tools
and softwares.
2. Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil engineering or
Architecture.
3. Certification in AutoCAD is given more weightage.
4. Candidates who have Proficiency in digitizing, creation of 3-D
models and working knowledge of GIS will be preferred much.
5. Proficiency in MS word, Excel and Power point.
6. Candidates should have Work experience in an Architectural firm
or should have worked under the supervision of Architects for a
minimum of one year or should have completed two projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Competency in understanding and following highly complex oral
written instructions.
2. Performing drafting operations for the determination of project
plans
3. Collection of data for Project designs.
4. Draw up complex architectural and engineering drawings for
projects.
5. Creation of vector maps from raster images with high accuracy.
6. Preparation of sections, elevations and 3-D drawings for
projects.
7. Drafting of engineering drawings and plans.
8. Doing fieldwork, documentation, research and drafting tasks of
engineering data as requested by manager
9. Knowledge of regular computer software and AutoCAD maintenance,
upgrading and troubleshooting
10.Operational knowledge of basic office equipment like printers,
computer terminals, facsimile machines, copy machines and telephone
systems
11. Ability to work with teams.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills.
