from qualified, experienced and competent Indian nationals for the post of Operator-cumMechanic. The duty involves working in 3 rotation shifts and only Male candidates are eligible to apply

Cost to Company (CTC):
3.53 Lakhs per annum (approximately) including Pay and

Dearness Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Company Accommodation / House Rent Allowance, Free Medical Facility, LTA, CPF, Gratuity etc.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE (As on 01.10.2011):

· Qualification: SSC/Matric with ITI or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Board/Institute with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence. Ex-Servicemen with

equivalent qualification may also apply. Candidates must enclose latest Driving Licence Extract Copy issued by the Regional Transport Authority of the concerned State Govt. along with their applications.

Experience: Three (3) years post qualification experience in operating Earth Moving/Material Handling Equipments after obtaining Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.

· Mode of Selection: Selection will be through written test, job test and interview to be held at Visakhapatnam.

APPLICATION FEES (for other than SC/ST candidates):

· Application fees must be deposited in “RINL Recruitment Account No. 30589461220” at any branch of State Bank of India in the prescribed Challan. No other form of payment is accepted.

· Format for Challan is available in the website www.vizagsteel.com on the link Career.

· Candidates have to pay maximum bank commission @
25/- per Challan for depositing fees at other than SBI, Steel Plant Branch, Visakhapatnam, Branch Code 6318.

· Candidates must fill-up the SBI Branch name, Branch Code, candidate’s name and date of birth carefully in the Challan and sign at the place Deposited by __________.

· Late date for deposit of Application fees is 14.11.2011.· Candidates should mention in the appropriate place in the online application form the details of SBI branch, Branch code, City, date of deposit and the Journal Number.

· Candidates should submit original counterfoil of the Challan (VSP copy) along with his Registration Slip.

· Application fees once deposited into RINL’s account will not be refunded under any circumstances, even if the candidate is rejected on scrutiny, internet failure or application not received in time due to postal delay / loss.

· The candidate should retain his copy of the counterfoil of the Challan for further

reference.

How to Apply

STEP 1: Log on to www.vizagsteel.com and go to the link Careers and click on “Recruitment of Operator-Cum-Mechanic”

STEP 2: Read carefully all the instructions given on the website. Ensure that you are eligible for the post in all respects.

STEP 3: Have counterfoil of Challan of Application fees in hand. Applications will not be registered without the details of Journal Number, SBI Branch Code no., City and date of deposit (not for SC/ST candidates).

STEP 4: Fill in the Online Application Form carefully with your particulars.

STEP 5: After you click SUBMIT, verify that you have fed all your particulars correctly.

Download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details with space for passport size photograph and signature. Take a print of the Registration Slip on thick white A4 size paper, affix and self-attest passport size color photograph, and sign on the Registration Slip in the space provided.

Please retain three identical photographs to be used at the time of written test/job test/interview (Change of photograph at the time of written test / job test / interview shall render the applicant ineligible).

STEP 6: Send the following by post to “Post Box No 395, Andhra University Post Office, Visakhapatnam - 530003” so as to reach latest by 21.11.2011:

i) The Original Registration Slip with photograph affixed.

ii) VSP copy of Application fees Challan (not for SC/ST candidates). At the reverse side of

the Challan write your name and registration number.

iii) Driving Licence Extract Copy (latest) issued by the Regional Transport Authority of the concerned State Government.

STEP 7: Please superscribe the envelope- Application for the post of Operator-Cum-Mechanic.

STEP 8: Candidates should not enclose copies of certificates pertaining to their date of birth or category (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen) or Educational qualifications or Experience along with their Registration Slip.

STEP 9: The online registration site would be open from 27.10.2011 to 14.11.2011.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Only Online applications through website www.vizagsteel.com will be accepted. No other form of application will be accepted.

2. In case of any mistake in his particulars detected by the candidate in the Registration Slip, candidates are advised to register again and send the latest Registration Slip with enclosures to the address. This facility is available up to the closing of online registration.

In case of multiple applications, the latest Registration Slip received with all enclosures will be considered.

3. Incomplete / illegible / unsigned applications, applications not in the prescribed format or without self-attested photograph, without Driving Licence Extract Copy or VSP copy of Challan (not for SC/ST candidates), or those received after the last date will be rejected.

4. All qualifications should be from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution in India. All certificates should be in English or Hindi.

5. Depending on the requirement, the Company reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/curtail the recruitment process as well as the number of positions, keeping in view the Plant’s needs, without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof.

6. The candidates are advised to ensure while applying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements mentioned in this advertisement and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment process that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or does not comply with other requirements of this advertisement and/or he has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his candidature is liable to be rejected. If any of the above shortcomings is/are detected even after appointment, his services are liable to be terminated without any notice.

7. The final selection is subject to the candidates being found medically fit as per Company’s Medical Rules.

8. Candidates will have to appear for the written test at their own cost. The date, time and venue of the Written Test will be intimated later on and also displayed on website of www.vizagsteel.com.

9. Based on performance in written test, candidates will be shortlisted for job test /interview. Candidates appearing in interview will be reimbursed to & fro railfare by shortest route on production of proof of journey.

10. Candidates should visit our website regularly for list of eligible candidates, date of written test / job test / interview, downloading of Admit cards, etc.

11. Candidates working in Govt. / Semi-Govt. / Public Undertakings will have to produce “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer at the time of interview.

12. Candidates should retain a photocopy of Registration Slip and counterfoil of Challan (Candidate’s Copy) of Application fees for future reference.

13. Candidates not depositing exact amount of Application fees will be rejected.

14. In case of any overwriting or tampering of Registration Slip, the candidature of the candidate shall be rejected.

15. Candidates submitting photocopies of Registration Slip shall be rejected.
